“Imagine a particle so small, a container the size of a sugar cube can hold enough of that particle to treat an area the size of two football fields. It’s time to think small.”
A nanometer is one billionth of a meter. A nano-particle is classified as any particle under 40 nanometers. A 40nm particle is 1,000 times smaller than a human hair. SealBack™ is a low VOC clear acrylic sealer that contains trillions of nano-particles per gallon. The blend of particles come together to provide excellent protection against UV, water, abrasion, and dirt. This one-of-a-kind product is an Encore exclusive.
While other clear sealers allow UV to penetrate and grey the wood or coating below, SealBack’s proprietary formula blocks UV and preserves the beauty of what it’s protecting. It’s also resistant to yellowing, which often happens to other sealers.
SealBack’s chemistry modifies the surface to which it’s applied and prevents airborne dirt and dust particles (caused by lawn mowers, wind, etc.) from attaching. With each rainfall, the surface is cleansed. (Note: Stains caused from leaf tannins and other foreign materials will not self-clean, but can be removed with normal cleaning.)
Sealback’s water-based chemistry is designed to penetrate into porous substrates and provide years of protection against the sun and rain. SealBack will dry within minutes allowing a second coat (if desired) to be applied. On softwoods, such as Southern Yellow Pine, thin coats of SealBack should be applied until water repellency is active on the surface (test for this by pouring a small amount of water in random areas after the SealBack has had 30 minutes to dry).
SealBack™ provides unmatched protection against sun and rain damage. Its unique formula prevents airborne dirt and dust from attaching and self-cleans with each rainfall. Nano-chemistry makes it so.

Paul Ryder –
Used this sealer over several different types of surfaces. Used on pavers, concrete, wood decking. Easy to apply. Dries fast. Looks great. My customers have been very satisfied and I like using it. This sealer looks better than any other sealer I’ve used.
James B. –
Very easy to apply and looks great when it’s done.

I have two new concrete porches. I had applied sealer to one of the porches before finding this product. So, I decided to try Sealback on the second porch. I have found that Sealback, after just a few weeks, is staying clean with just rainfall! The other porch is looking a little dingy – something that I probably wouldn’t have noticed otherwise. I’ll watch them for a year or so and I may try and apply Sealback to the first porch. Sealback has a great satin finish and looks fresh!
Curly Dowdy –
Seems like a normal acrylic sealer to me.
Jenny Bell –
Outstanding results on our wood deck. Very pleased.

This is a nice product and did a great job sealing up a wood deck that is about two years old. We applied two coats and it has a good look. We got an unexpected rain storm a couple of hours after the sealer was down and we ended up with some areas turning white. The company said this was due to the fact that the product didn’t have time to cure before it got wet. The white eventually went away. All’s good and it’s holding up well.

We bought a gallon of Sealback to apply on a small front porch area. It did a great job. We had quite a bit left over so we began to try it on several areas around our home. We did a mahogany handrail (excellent). We did our front door (excellent). We did a concrete stoop on our back porch (excellent). I even put some on some Hardy plank siding – excellent. It enhanced the look of the painted Hardy plank. This product is awesome and so versatile! I could see doing my whole house with this stuff. The concrete has gotten dirty from our dog coming in and out, so I haven’t seen “self-cleaning” on that, but everything else seems to be much better off with Sealback on it. Still have almost a 1/2 gallon left! This product is anything but normal.
