AQURON® CPT-2000™ is a permanent, clear treatment/preservative/sealant solution for new or existing pneumatically applied or cast in place concrete. AQURON® CPT-2000™ will reduce permeability and porosity which will significantly preserve the embedded steel. It is used on structures such as, highways, bridges, swimming pools, multi-level parking, sea ports, warehouses airport runways and salt contaminated concrete.
AQURON® CPT-2000™ is a non-hazardous, user-friendly, and permanent clear treatment/preservative sealant designed for concrete installations. This advanced solution features a highly reactive catalytic agent suspended in a waterborne proprietary colloidal silica base, which forms a silica-hydrogel beneath the surface and within the concrete’s matrix. This process effectively seals the matrix and offers significant protection for embedded steel. AQURON® CPT-2000™ helps prevent peeling, cracking, and bond loss caused by capillary moisture or internal chemical reactions. It also mitigates the deterioration of concrete caused by alkali-aggregate or alkali-silicate reactivity, reducing the potential for damage. For optimal results, AQURON® CPT-2000™ should be spray-applied to a clean, moist surface, ensuring that all oil, grease, and other contaminants have been thoroughly removed.
