Encore conducts regular certification (ECAP) courses around the United States in which attendees are trained to understand the proper preparation and application of Encore coatings.  ECAP attendees also learn about why wood fails in outdoor environments, the types of fungi that can attack wood, stains and sealers that have been used in the past to protect wood, and the technical differences between Encore and available stains and sealers.  The course concludes with hands on application training.

Encore Coatings supports ECAP as a service and courtesy to the Industry.  We believe that a pro-active training program is beneficial for our consumer and we are proud to be one of just a few companies that take this matter seriously.

Encore is pleased to support graduates of its ECAP by doubling the term (from 2 years to 4 years) of the Limited Product Warranty offered on Encore Composite Coatings when work is performed by an Authorized (accredited) installer.

Accredited personnel listed on this Locator are not employees of Encore Coatings, LLC.  Although each of the individuals listed on this Locator attended the Encore Accreditation Course, the listing(s) does not represent an Encore recommendation, referral, or reference.  Encore only certifies that the individual participated in the ECAP.  Post-August 2011 graduates have also passed a written exam that became part of the Program.  It is important that consumers know that Encore did not conduct background checks or verify any information that they may provide, including references on  past projects, services, etc.

As with any home improvement project, we suggest that you interview more than one contractor and ask for and check the references of their three most recently completed projects as these references will likely reflect the most current customer experiences with the contractor.

Encore is pleased to provide this Locator as a very good starting point for choosing the right personnel for your job.  When you click “Search” below, you understand the above and that no specific reference whatsoever is made by providing information on service providers in your area.
